At the helm is Rob Ortiz, a seasoned executive with a unique blend of legal training, nonprofit leadership, and deep capital strategy insight. As the former Senior Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer of The Cooper Foundation at Cooper University Health Care and a Director of Gift Planning at the University of Notre Dame, Rob has raised hundreds of millions of dollars across sectors and stewarded complex donor relationships at the highest levels. In recent years, Rob expanded into venture capital fundraising and political consulting, advising candidates, entrepreneurs, and mission-driven ventures on a fundraising approach they need to grow and lead. Rob holds a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relation with a triple minor in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Frank Troy brings extensive leadership experience from previous roles from market-leading companies such as Walker Diving Underwater Construction LLC, Walker Cutting Services, Albireo Energy, LLC, Trane Commercial HVAC, and Ingersoll Rand. In May 2025, Frank won a successful reelection to a second four-year term to the position of Commissioner of Haddonfield, NJ. He is an adept connector and is sought after by political candidates and non-profits alike to raise funds and host events. Frank is a member of The Patriot Fund’s Resource Development Committee, where he conducts outreach, qualifies donors, and raises money for events. While working at his previous employer, he was the national liaison for the Gary Sinise Foundation where he coordinated nationwide fundraising and the corporate match. Prior to his civilian experience, Frank was a Naval Officer, having served two deployments on the USS Anzio (CG-68) in the Middle East and Kosovo and in a logistics function at SEAL Team 3 in support of Global War on Terror. He holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA from the University of San Diego. He lives in Haddonfield with his wife Debbie and is joined by their daughter Carly, a student at University of Delaware.

DJ Vogt is a seasoned external affairs and policy executive with more than two decades of experience driving business growth through strategic engagement with state governments, regulatory agencies, and key public stakeholders. As the Managing Partner of the West Coast office of CapitalCrest Partners, DJ brings a rare blend of C- suite trust, legislative acumen, and private-sector insight that strengthens the firm’s ability to identify, support, and scale value-creating investments across complex regulatory environments. At CapitalCrest Partners, DJ contributes his policy expertise and strategic leadership to help portfolio companies navigate high-stakes public affairs, align with ESG objectives, and accelerate growth. His experience spans semiconductors, consumer products, economic development, and infrastructure matching the firm’s focus on middle-market investment opportunities where operational improvement and stakeholder strategy drive long-term value. DJ holds an MBA and a Master of Public Policy from Duke University, along with dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and Pre-Professional Science from the University of Notre Dame. He is active in civic leadership, having served on multiple nonprofit and business boards, and brings a values-driven, collaborative approach to both business and community engagement.
